Hi Everyone

WinningStart has been online for about 6 months. I recently purchased the site. It had about 200 members and a few thousand posts. However, the site wasnt going in the direction i want it to head so i have started from square one. It had a lot of pointless threads and a lot of features that really werent needed (for example an arcade etc - why would we need an arcade - we aint 10 year olds!)

Ive been wanting to start a place like this for some time. I wouldnt say im a degenerate gambler or someone who gambles too much....(guess it depends who your comparing me too) but i do enjoy a gamble and love going to the casino. I play poker about 15-20 hours a week and i put on a footie coupon every other week. I have put money on the dogs and horses in the past but put simply i couldnt pick a horse if my life depended on it. One of my best friends is always betting on the horses and is always following the form of them. Hes really into his footie coupons as well.

I only work on websites that i have a general interest in and something i know what im talking about though I dont see my lack of gambling on a specific sport or genre holding the site back as we'll attract all types of gamblers.

I want WinningStart to be a place :

* For people to meet other people via the internet who also gamble online
* For people who follow a lot of sports and gamble on the sports they follow
* To get tips on gambling and advice for gambling online

The site will grow dynamically - ie. whilst i will implement new ideas on the site occasionally, for the best part the site will grow with the aid of suggestions from members and visitors

I've been looking for a new forum site for some time as most of them just discuss the same mundane topics over and over. I want to discuss football and horses and pick up hints and tips thru other peoples info. If I get a tip from someone i'll let you know and you wont have to subscribe for it. Hopefully you will do the same for me and everyone can make a little money.

If you're a more serious gambler than me i'll be able to help you with which sites to invest in and which ones to avoid as i've fallen for some of them in the past but been fairly successful with some others. All you need to do is ask the questions.
