Sharapova is seen to be slight favorite in the match against the world number one. Whilst she has been impressive she has not exhibited the kind of form that say federer has.
Mauresmo winning pays 11-8 but her winning 2-1 pays 7-2. This strikes me as quite good odds but at the same time not a great bargin. Betting that the game will take three sets to be won pays quite well.
Sharapova will very probably be getting the popular vote.
Federer is showing such magical form that betting against him does not seem too wise. Still there are some bets against him that might be worth thinking about.
You are getting good odds on him winning but not in straight sets. I appreciate that he is likely to win against the Fin in straight sets but with 3-1 paying 7-1 and 3-2 paying 18-1 both of these might be worth a punt.
On some sites you are getting 1-200 on him to win the tournament - this clearly is not good value.
