Dumb commercials these days

Is it me or are there a sudden surge in stupid commercials ...do these marketing guys really think we're all THAT dumb?! this would

the annoying thing is that some of these commercials really work and that breeds more of them. I dont know if your from the UK or not but there were some particularly annoying Halifax adds involving cheesy versions of songs ("who gives you extra?" instead of "who let the dogs out" etc) suppremely annoying and inane but very effective in raising brand and promotional awareness.

The "noone to play with...there' always party poker.com" is increasingly annoying me but it does not stop me playing at party poker which is one of my favorite poker sites.

Most of the ads these days dont make any sense at all! Boring, annoying, most of all lame!
