If you want to be involved in online casinos then unless you want to stick to one site, ignor all the bonuses etc etc then you need to have a wide variety of sites at your fingertips to maximise your enjoyment, enjoy a few bargins and comps and also to ensure that you are not getting ripped off. This is far less true of online poker.

Never-the-less there are a range of sites that you might find either entertaining or useful

If you are looking for a new poker site to play on then have a look at this page (to be added) on our own site. This (will) contains a wide range of sites and very basic info about them.

Also I will be adding a more substantial review section over the next month or so.

In the mean time

www.pokerlistings.com
is a good place to find a new site to play on. It is little more than a links page but it does contain reviews etc as well as some useful information including telling you when tournaments are on a good number of sites.

is a good place to find out about some sites. Here are some links that you might want to look at. Some are interesting, some are fun and some are just damn useful:-

www.cardplayer.com
Is a great place to access top quality cardplayer articles for free. I really do feel though that people should realise that much of what the pros and even some of the theorists have to say just does not apply to either freerolls or the fairly low level buyins that are the games most players play online (sub 100$ tournament buy ins etc). Still this is definately a good place to go for non-internet specific strategy. It also has a forum, loads of useful info covering everything from the pro tour, poker news, off-line card rooms (USA) to a freely accessable poker odds calculator. This is a fun place to spend an hour or two and you might learn a few interesting things.

www.neteller.com
You know you should really have an account here lol

www.pokertracker.com
This is not an essential tool for everyone but if you want to maximise the edge you have over your opponents it is something to seriously think about. Sometimes I feel people usew poker tracker when they should be just WATCHING their opponents. In many 5$ games for instance players carry their betting tendancies like calling cards for all to see. Still this is a really useful resource for the serious player of either ring games OR tournaments particularly 20$ and up and particularly if you mainly play on one site. Most software I will be talking about and dealing with elsewhere in the forum. This is just so important it is worth emphasising.

www.pokerindicator.com
They say "Poker Indicator - Automatic Poker Odds Calculator Win more poker hands using an accurate poker odds calculator. Support over 80 online poker sites." Many poker odds calculators claim to support loads of sites but actually exist completely independantly from them. This is the real deal and you have the information automatically at your fingertips. As well as an odds checker this program has tools that give you some of the information on your opponents that poker tracker would provide. They also display opponents mucked cards (available via a couple of clicks anyway) with is a good time saver and invaluable information. Given that most odds checkers exist seperate completely from the poker sites and that there are lots of other extra features this is definately worth thinking about. A trial version is free to download.

www.pokerstove.com
This is a free odds calculator. It is not as easy to use as the one by pokerrewards (click here) but it is a bit more sophisticated. This is probably more a study companion than a tool to take with you to the tables

http://www.online-casinos.com
Is a place full of interesting and up to date news about casinos, poker etc. Well worth a nosey every now and then.

www.worldpokertour.com
Is the official site for the"world poker tour"

http://www.pokerineurope.com/frontpage/index.php
Is well worth a look if you are not based in the states (or canada). It has info on big tournaments all across europe, poker articles etc. You could use this to get good quality articles from the pros or to plan a poker holiday in eastern europe. The choice is yours.

I will add to and refine this selection over the next few weeks and months.
